Art Supplies from Magicfly: Our chalk paint bottle comes with a sealed aluminum film and a 3-layer screw cap to ensure that the paint will not leak during transportation. Our chalk paint has a thick texture and dries quickly, making it a reliable paint for small projects, such as furniture and crafts. This kit includes a nylon brush, a hog brush, and 3 grades of sandpaper to help you get started on your next project. The 120, 180, and 320 mesh sandpapers can be used to polish different rough surfaces. The colors in this paint set include Sheepskin, Soft Landing, Camel Brown, Light Gray, Vessel Grey, Sea Salt, Light Sky, Turquoise, and Olive Green.

Clean & Prep: If your wooden furniture is not worn and the surface is smooth, just use soapy water to clean the surface dirt, and then you can paint. If the surface of your furniture is defective, sand it and fill the defect with epoxy resin until the surface is smooth before cleaning and painting.

Paint & Brush On: Please stir thoroughly to re-disperse any settled pigment. Use a high-quality nylon brush to apply light, even brush strokes. The single-layer coating will dry in 20-30 minutes, and please allow 24-48 hours for the final layer to cure completely.

Distress: There are two ways to Distress. Start by brushing on the base color, then dry brush with a stiff bristle brush, a small amount of the color you want to wear, and paint over the frayed edges of the furniture to simulate peeling paint. The second is to first stack 2 different colors and sand them with sandpaper until the underlying color or even the color of the furniture itself is exposed, and artificial damage is used to simulate paint peeling.

Top Coat: If you are using wax for a top coat, use a nylon pen to reduce brush marks and let the wax layer dry completely after 24-48 hours after brushing. If it is used in frequently used areas, it should be waxed regularly for maintenance.
